Small and medium
sized enterprises need customized business services to overcome
their unique challenges, advance their expertise, and bolster
core skills. SMEs face
a daunting logistical task of conforming to complex legal / social
regulations, environment standards, Health and Safety requirements,
and maintaining quality assurance with limited personnel / financial
resources. Hence, the goal of the EU project PROMIS was
to develop a portal which allows organizations access to information
essential for key personnel, thus minimizing risk and assuring
compliance with customer requirements in the international market.
